French Toast

 

Ingredients

 

Bread

2 Eggs

1/2 tsp vanilla

Pinch of salt

1 tsp brown sugar

2 tbsp oil for frying

 

Directions

 

Beat eggs, vanilla, sugar and salt together in a bowl.  

Pour liquid in container with a flat bottom and wide opening.  

Dip slices of bread in egg liquid coating both sides.

Fry on both sides until golden brown.

 

Note: you can leave the bread in the egg mixture for as long as you like. Some people like their French Toast soft on the inside while some like it firm.  If you like it firm, leave bread in the egg mixture for a short time on each side and if you like it soft then let the bread absorb the egg mixture for a longer time.
